IBM实习面试

    前一阵IBM在招暑期实习生，其实主要对象是大三的。不过我反正也没有工作，也没有其它什么事，于是也投了一份简历去。等了几天，没什么反应。结果昨天早上10点钟我还在睡梦中时，一个电话打过来了让我第二天10点面试。当时就奋然起床，跑到学校，在BBS上开始查IBM的资料和前人的面经，发现面试要求的穿着也很讲究。于是下午就跑回家，穿上了衬衫西裤。毕竟对方是这么一个著名的跨国大公司，这些面子工作还是要做足的。

    今天起了个大早，又看了一遍面经，就出发了。平常早上不出校门，今天才算体会到人潮汹涌。桂庙车站的车子一到，就有20来个人开始往上冲。要知道车上面已经是人山人海了。我一直等到了第3部70路，才挤上去。心中暗喜：还好起得早。到了世界之窗花了15分钟。后来又坐地铁到大剧院，也是20分钟车程。到了帝王那里大概9：45，跟前台小姐说明来意，她让我在椅子上等。结果等到10：10，有点坐不住了。又去问小姐。并说约好的时间是10点。她说是么，让我再等一下。我心想，你们该不是故意耍我的吧。还好，又等了几分钟，就有一个PPMM过来将我带进一个conference room.我看到旁边至少还有一个conference room，一个房间大概10平方米吧，中间一个桌子，四把椅子，有一个窗子。套一句广告词，简约而不简单。看来大公司就是不一样啊，还有这种conference room，长见识了。

    又等了5分钟，来了一位姓许的先生，对我进行面试。最让我喜出望外的是，他讲的是中文。当时别提多高兴了，因为面经里说开始一般是用英文自我介绍的。结果他也没让我介绍，就开始对我用中文提问。提的问题也是面经里的类似问题，毕竟做过了准备，回答得一般一般吧。一共也就花了15分钟左右的时间，就over了。许先生也非常热情，将我送出IBM的大门，帮我按了电梯，不知道是不是公司要求员工对客人都要如此客气。今天为两件事感到高兴，一是第一次进帝王大厦，二是第一次接触IBM公司。总之今天任务完成了，能不能实习再说了。唯一的遗憾是没有见到汤乐，嗯，遗憾，大大的遗憾。但愿还有机会。

不过问题看得很细，有时候会抓住一个问题一直问下去，大家一定要准备好
Interview tips
  The interview gives you a chance to tell us a little about yourself and fo

hat you're looking for. These interview tips and common questions may help y
ou.
Preparation for the interview is imperative:
Find out as much information as you can about IBM and the business units you
 might be interested in.
Prepare questions that you would like to ask the interviewer about career op
portunities in IBM.
Role play an interview session with a friend.
Understand your own strengths and weaknesses and what you might be able to b
ring to IBM.
Run through commonly asked questions. Prepare for subjective questions that
only you can answer eg. What are your career aspirations?
Prepare a suitable outfit for the day which presents you well.
Find out where the interview will be held, the time, place, the interviewer'
s name and their position in the organisation. Ensure you are punctual.
At the interview:
Appear confident even if you are not feeling it.
Don't worry if you need a moment to think through your answer. Most intervie
wers will understand if you need a little time to collect your thoughts.
Interviewers are looking to evaluate certain qualities, so try to give speci
fic answers with examples if possible.
Be honest in your answers. The Interviewer is trying to place you in a role
that will develop your potential.
Common questions include:
Over the next 3-5 years, what sort of role do you see yourself in?
What are your most significant achievements to date?
Where do you see your strengths on the technical and personal fronts?
How could you add value to IBM if you got this job?
Why would you want to join IBM?
Could you relate an incident when you were had a difference of opinion with
a colleague and tell me how you resolved it?
